The purpose of the ESIA report is to evaluate the possible environmental and social consequences linked to the development of the Project. An impartial and objective ESIA process was carried out to obtain pertinent information and views from Interested and Affected Parties (IAPs), which were then submitted to the Ministry of Tourism and Environment (MTE) and National Environmental Agency (NEA) to facilitate informed decision-making. The ESIA Report provides the findings from this process, which include potential impacts, feedback from stakeholders, and recommendations for mitigating and managing these impacts.
Abkons sh.p.k conducted the report as an Independent Environmental Consultant (IEC) in accordance with EBRD standards for a Category A project.
